Carrie Bond - Key Note Speaker

Carrie Bond is an everyday girl passionate about teaching women truth from God’s Word and encouraging them to live it out. She and her husband have been involved in ministry for all of their 28 years of marriage, the last 18 years at Greenwood Baptist Church in Weatherford, where Brian serves as Senior Pastor. God blessed them through adoption with three children, and Carrie has been honored to homeschool and graduate two of them, with the youngest one in 7th grade. Carrie leads the women ministry at her home church, serves with the SBTC Women’s Ministry team and works with Surrendering the Secret, a post-abortion ministry. She loves Frenchie’s and always enjoys chatting over a great cup of coffee.

Teresa Harmening - Worship

Teresa Harmening has the unique ability to use words and music to inspire others to seek God with a fresh passion. Her enthusiasm for the Lord reflects a message of joy and hope that comes from spending time in God’s Word, the foundation for a dynamic life in Christ.

As a speaker and vibrant communicator of God’s Word, Teresa’s passion is to see people awakened with a fresh hunger to know God and come into a deep and authentic relationship with Him that will impact their lives for God’s kingdom. Speaking and singing at women’s events across the country and sharing this joyful message of God’s love is the heartbeat of this ministry.

Teresa has served at Leesville Baptist Church near Addielou, Texas for the past 38 years in the music ministry as a worship leader. When she is not on the road traveling and speaking, she and her husband, Boyd, enjoy spending time with their two precious granddaughters.

We are filled with different emotions every day. Not only are we dealing with our own, but we can be overwhelmed with the emotions of others as well. As a child of God, we may ask why does this affect me and how should I rise above my feelings? Come listen to Jana as she will teach us how to manage our emotions and respond to others effectively

Do you feel like you have been singled out for sorrow? Has sadness shattered your peace and contentment? If so, you are not alone! Anguish and heartache after a negative major life event can crush even the most spiritually mature Christian woman, but restoration and redemption are possible. Join Jennifer as she shares her experiences with heart-shattering loss, the grief that followed, and the road to contentment after being “chosen for grief.”

As children of God, we have been called to lead the next generation to Him. In this session, you will join Rachel McRight as she leads you to the scriptures for solid encouragement to raising chosen children.

In Titus 2 we are commanded to train younger women in what is good. Ever wondered what that would look like in your daily life? Who are the younger women God has in mind? Or how do I even start? Join Sherilyn as she shares how God’s design for mentoring can be developed with what you may already have in place in your church.
